SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - AUGUST, 2007

Christine and I enjoyed several wonderful days in Sydney, Australia in August, 2007.  The jaunt to Sydney was a bit of an urban escape after a week of exploring North Island, New Zealand.  August is supposed to be winter in Australia, but the weather in Sydney was nicer and warmer than back home in San Francisco.

Sydney is a marvelous, dynamic city.  The beautiful landmarks (Opera House, Harbor Bridge, Sydney Zoo) are very accessible.  The people are warm and welcoming.  There are great places to go for a walk - which is very important considering how amazing the food is!  And if you a enjoy a good ferry ride, Sydney is for you!
